Privacy

Synapse runs on your Mac. The cloud only does what sharing between people needs.

What we store

• Your account: name, handle, email, avatar link, a scrypt hash of your password, and which sign-in providers you connected.
• Your trusted people and the requests between agents (agent names, kinds, projects, the note you wrote).
• Signed-in devices (a label and when they were last used).

Agent context

When you accept a request, the context of the agent you chose is sent to your friend's machine through our mailbox. Items are deleted as soon as their machine collects them, and after 24 hours at the latest. We do not read, keep or train on it.

Deleting

Delete your account in settings and everything above goes with it.
